Two GCG Executives Speak at AAJ Women’s Leadership Summit
Emily Gottlieb, Stephanie Caro Share Thoughts on Business Success, Challenges
Lake Success, N.Y. (July 30, 2012) – Emily Gottlieb, assistant vice president, Midwest operations, and Stephanie Caro, director of marketing at The Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG), spoke at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Women’s Trial Lawyer’s Caucus Leadership Summit on July 27 in Chicago, Ill.
The summit, held every Friday before the start of the organization‘s annual convention, is designed to provide resources and a networking forum for AAJ’s women trial lawyers. This year, the summit, titled “The Business Side of the Law - Banking, Credit, Accounting, Tax & Advertising Issues,” allowed lawyers to share their stories of success, challenges, how to achieve work/life balance and other tips. GCG was a sponsor of the event.
“This practical program provided an amazing opportunity to hear advice and stories of distinguished women lawyers in the AAJ,” said Gottlieb. “I am honored to have been a part of such an empowering event.”
Gottlieb manages GCG’s Chicago office and is responsible for its operational activity. Additionally, she is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, is a primary author of one of GCG’s continuing legal education programs (CLE) and is a frequent presenter at law firms across the nation.
“It was an enjoyable experience to offer up my expertise in legal marketing, advertising, social media and SEO generation to the distinguished women of the AAJ,” said Caro.
Caro runs GCG’s corporate marketing department, overseeing all advertising, branding, corporate event management and public relations campaigns. She has more than 20 years of experience in all phases of marketing management, digital interactive communications and sales.
