Paul Kinealy
Director, Bankruptcy
Prior to joining GCG, Mr. Kinealy was a Director at Alvarez & Marsal LLC where he was a founding member of the A&M Claims Management Services group, assisting medium to large clients and their professionals through pre-bankruptcy preparation and Chapter 11 case administration. He managed project teams through all phases of the bankruptcy process, including the preparation of debtors’ master creditor matrices and top unsecured creditors lists, schedules of assets and liabilities, and statements of financial affairs; claims reconciliation and objection and preference analysis. He supported debtors’ counsel on data collection for first day motions and the preparation of plans of reorganization and disclosure statements.
Mr. Kinealy also supported several cross-border/CCAA insolvencies and participated in the design, creation and implementation of a $1+ million bankruptcy administration application and database. He had representative engagements with the Tribune Company, Chesapeake Corporation, Masonite International, Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. and Movie Gallery (Hollywood Video).
Mr. Kinealy received his J.D., with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulane University.
He is licensed to practice Law in Illinois and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. |
