Ken Kuveke started with GCG in March 2006. As the senior member of GCG’s banking team, Ken is instrumental in managing various settlement accounts and developing and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions across the globe to meet the needs of our clients, our claimants, and the courts. Prior to his tenure at GCG, Mr. Kuveke was a senior manager with responsibility for the branch network in various markets in New York and on Long Island. In this role, he led the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) effort, working with non-profit groups and community organizations to improve the welfare of the community and its residents.
Mr. Kuveke’s vast banking experience has prepared him to adeptly navigate the unique issues and administrative hurdles associated with Human Rights administrations, such as distributing class member awards in cases where many class members are transient and many more do not have accounts at established financial institutions. In these cases, a proper administration requires the ability to find as many class members as possible and physically get the checks in their hands, and also to provide them with the ability to cash their checks, all while protecting the settlement fund from fraud. Mr. Kuveke has worked in nearly a dozen such cases in the last two years alone. |
