Welcome to the United Producers, Inc. and Producers Credit Corp. Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Administration Website On April 1, 2005, United Producers, Inc. and Producers Credit Corporation (the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio. These cases are being jointly administered under case number 05-55272 and are assigned to the Honorable Charles M. Caldwell. A meeting of creditors was held on June, 14, 2005 at the Office of the United States Trustee, 170 North High Street, Suite 204, Columbus, Ohio 43215. A Notice of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case, Meeting of Creditors and Deadlines was mailed to all known creditors of the Debtors. The deadline to file a proof of claim was set for August 10, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time. An order establishing the bar date for filing proofs of claim, together with a proof of claim form, was mailed to all known creditors on or about April 11, 2005. If you believe you have a claim against either of the Debtors that arose prior to April 1, 2005, you were required to deliver a completed and signed proof of claim form, together with supporting documentation, either by regular mail, overnight courier or hand delivery, so as to be actually received by the United States Bankruptcy Court no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern time on August 10, 2005 at the following address:
Clerk of the Court On August 25, 2005, The Debtors' Amended Joint Disclosure Statement in connection with its proposed Amended Joint Plan of Reorganization was approved by order of the Bankruptcy Court. Pursuant to that order, the Court set (a) September 23, 2005 at 4:00 p.m., prevailing Eastern time, as the deadline for submitting votes as to the acceptance or rejection of the Plan; (b) September 23, 2005 at 12:00 noon, prevailing Eastern time, as the deadline for filing and serving objections to confirmation of the Plan; and (c) September 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., prevailing Eastern time, as the date and time for the hearing on the confirmation of the Plan. On August 29, 2005, a Notice of Confirmation Hearing was mailed to all interested parties. On August 31, 2005, copies of the Disclosure Statement and customized ballots with which to vote on the Plan were mailed to those creditors entitled to vote on the Plan. On October 6, 2005 an order was entered confirming the Amended Joint Plan of Reorganization. Certain court documents can be accessed by clicking on the links on the left side of this page.
